January 2019. During the second day of Colombiatex de las Américas, the alliance between Open Lab and Inexmoda was announced, an alliance which seeks to provide the Fashion System with the tools, concepts, and game plans with which it should face new realities and challenges required by the market and its consumers, always maintaining Transformation as a common purpose.
Innovation accelerator OpenLab is a business transformation laboratory, which, added to the knowledge of Inexmoda, will jointly deliver tools of applied innovation to the Fashion System. “Thanks to this alliance with a titan of the sector such as Inexmoda, we invite companies of the Fashion System to find in innovation a powerful tool for solving problems,” said Sebastian Toro, CEO of OpenLab.
This will be an opportunity for Fashion System companies to ask themselves, If we could transform our business, what would we do? What are we willing to do? In this way they can begin to work with Inexmoda and Open Lab on accelerating and strengthening their value proposals, leading them to find competivity, transformation, and empowerment in market changes, besides the creation of new business models, products or services.
“At Inexmoda we are here to transform the sector; we will analyze companies and invite them to participate in the project. We hope to work with different companies, since one of the purposes of this alliance is that the Colombian fashion industry and its Latin American expansion be examples of innovation,” said Lorenzo Velásquez, director of Knowledge and Transformation at Inexmoda.
Finally, during the second day of the Trade Show, Open Lab will participate in two academic activities: one of them in the Trends Forum at 2:00 p.m. with the conference The Future is Unavoidable, and the other at the Inexmoda-UPB Knowledge Pavilion, in a discussion moderated by Sebastián Toro, CEO of OpenLab, at 4:10 p.m. and transmitted via streaming at www.colombiatex.com
